Brighton & Hove Albion - Saturday 25th March 3:00pm
Withdean Stadium, Preston Park
Match preview
I am sure very few of the travelling Hatters are expecting a classic encounter on the south coast, a place we have not visited since December, when a very dull 1-0 hard to be endured, in front of Sky TV, at Southampton. True to say, the Withdean is hardly up to the same standard of stadium that the St Mary's one is either. For the first time however, the capacity will exceed 8,000 with B&HAFC 'celebrating' a record capacity of the athletics stadium today, it being 9,500 or so.
Anyway, to the match and with nothing to play for, it's going to be another test of character, against a side who no anything but a win against us, will mean, surely, League One football next season. Newell was pleased last week, despite a pretty dull victory over the Rams, let's hope for a bit of entertainment in Sussex!
