Getting there

It's a simple enough journey, just take the M1 up North.

  • Exit at junction 21
  • Take the A5460 to the city centre
  • Turn right onto Upperton Road, then through to Western Boulevard
  • Stadium is on the right and you're at LCFC

Where to eat & drink

Probably the best bet for away fans is the Counting House pub on Freemens Common Road

No need to find a pub if all you're after is a pre-match drink as there is a very impressive bar under the away stand

Leicester City - Saturday 27th August 3:00pm

Walkers Stadium, Leicestershire

Match preview

A first ever trip to the Walkers Stadium and one whcih brings plenty of optimism from Hatters fans. Our last trip to Leicester was in our relegation season, the same that went for Stoke last week too. Both Luton and Leicester have made impressive starts to their season, with only one defeat each so far this term, and convincing wins in midweek at League Two opposition in Bury and Orient respectively, both will go into this match looking for three early season points.

A trip that can be done in less than 90 minutes if you get a clear run on the M1, may mean many Hatters turn out for this fixture. However, having already had two away games this week, and the pricey admission costs, it this match may have the opposite effect on Hatters fans. For the third time in eight days, the Hatters go away then...
