A massive 25,000 odd in the ground according to official figures with a great atmosphere apparently, but it was unable to help the team out this time. About 2,500 or so awayday Hatters travelled apparently, and full credit to them because it is a very difficult journey getting out to the East Anglia region.

According to Three Counties Radio and what various fans said about the match it seemed like Luton hardly turned up this afternoon, and late sendings off to Nicholls and Perrett will only make things worse for the town as we have our next two games withing four days of each other. A home match with Crewe in midweek which people are already billing as a must win encounter.
