Getting there

  • North on M1
  • North on M6 to Junction 31
  • Up a steep hill after turning left off Motorway
  • Keep on road going down to a small roundabout
  • Right into Blackpool Road
  • Straight on and after 3 sets of traffic lights, PNEFC appears

Where to eat & drink

The 'Toy Soldier' is highly recommendable on Blackpool Road and for a bite to eat if you keep your eye peeled for a Maccy Ds when leaving the M6 there's no bother.

Beware: Most pubs in Preston Town Centre will not serve away fans and a high police presence in the centre is the norm too.

Preston North End - Saturday 11th February 3:00pm

Deepdale, Lancashire

Match preview

Our first time out in Lancashire since March of last year, when a late Howard header rescued a point at Oldham Athletic on our way to the League One title. A lot has happened since then of course! With, finally, an away win under our belt, our first for four months, coming at Hillsborough 11 days ago,  confidence should not really be an issue as we head North at the weekend to take on in form Preston.

Since our 3-0 demolition of The Lillywhites in September, 20 games ago for them now, Preston have not lost a game, a run which has meant they are securely in the top six and seven clear of Luton. Many travelling Hatters fans will concede, our last chance if we are to have a say in the final play-off positions come April, will be whether we can grab a victory at PNE. If not, the play-offs will surely be out of reach for us...
