Getting there

It's not too far and aslong as you don't get caught up in the rush hour traffic, then allowing a couple of hours travelling time should be ample. For this one you'll head southbound on the M1 for a change.

  • Leave at junction 6A then take the M25 to junction 15
  • Take from there, the M4 Westbound to junction 11
  • At the roundabout take the third exit
  • You're now into Reading and onto three sets of roundabouts, firstly take the second exit, then the first, then finally the second.
  • Carry onto Biscuit Way and in front of you is RFC

Where to eat & drink

The Harvester on the way into Reading is recommendable, but failing that there is a bar at the back of the away stand. For a bite to eat try the retail complex which is next to the stadium.

Please be advised very few pubs in Reading town centres allow colours.

Reading - Saturday 3rd December 3:00pm

Madejski Stadium, Berkshire

Match preview

A short trip along the M4 to Reading for this league fixture, and a chance to put one over on a side who have gone an amazing twenty Championship league games unbeaten, and haven't lost in 23 games (all competitions wise) since the opening day of the season.

Having lost to them 1-0 in the cup back in September, Luton will seek revenge, but on paper, this is the hardest game to play in the football league, outside of the Premier League of course. A trip to the side who are top of The Championship awaits, a tough ask for a team like us, who, currently are playing poorly. However, two wins and great performances last week at The Kenilworth, will give us confidence going down there. It should be a cracking game!
