Fans/atmosphere

Not too many from Luton, but given our away form this season, and the match being on TV after Christmas and everything else, that can hardly be a shock to many. Very little atmosphere and no real action on the pitch, a bit of a disappointing evening all round I'm sure, for those die hards who travelled up from Bedfordshire.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Luton Town

Match Report

We are very sorry but no Luton On Tour™ author attended this match. However, I managed to view the game on Sky Sports and must confess this was probably the worst performance I have seen from The Hatters in a long time. The manner of defeat was the most disappointing thing and I couldn't believe it when Howard seemed to have rescued us a point, but in the final two minutes Paul Ince struck a sweet half volley and Molineux made some noise, for the first time. How Newell could put it down to bad luck though, is beyond me.
